Tornado destroys Holt Alabama

A strong F-5 tornado struck Tuscaloosa yesterday. As always You Hurricane CREEKKEEPER documented the event.
I watched as Hurricane Creek vaporized and came up the hill as a huge fog bank. I have been to a couple of state fairs and one hog breeding and I have never seen anything like this in my life.

  1. Too stupid to take the dogs into the shelter? I would have videoed just outside the shelter until the tornado was close. Where was the truck found?

  2. so, obviously ya'll are ok.. which is good….. but, JEEEZZZ!! I was all into this until that god awful hollerin' and "rock n roll" bit… SO FUCKING ANNOYING!

  3. Very glad you folks made it through relatively unscathed. It could have been way worse. I'm just glad you weren't in the direct path. A co-worker of mine lost his step father in Holt. He was badly injured in the storm, and died that night. I believe he lived just off of Crescent Ridge Road, but I'm not sure what street. As I said before, I'm glad you made it safely. Great video too! That fog rising up and being sucked in is very creepy…We got hit here in Bibb County, but luckily, I only lost power for three days.

  4. This is one of the few videos that shows what I seen in Berry that day, about a min or two before I seen the tornado fog and moisture started coming out of the ground and woods being sucked towards the tornado.

  5. this tornado ( when it reach your house and community) were on its largerst at f5 rating surprise it doesn't do more damage ( sorry for the victim that died in this outbreak)

  6. I just came across this, in doing some research on the bridge. I pulled up a Goggle Earth view of the destruction (either the day if or a few days later). It was a monster and the damage path is quite extensive. It appears that it was on the ground for over 50 miles.

  7. "Jesus Louise I have no more trees" I know this was a really bad situation and I feel honestly sorry for the victims. But these words made me laugh. XD

  8. Check out the videos of the guy who analyzed the 2013 El Reno monster tornado (sorry, forget his name)… I think he calls that fog going into the storm the "ghost train".
