SOLAR ECLIPSE MONDAY AUGUST 21 UPDATED TROPICAL STORM GERT STRENGTHENS, TROPICS GETTING BUSY



Solar Eclipse Monday August 21, 2017 weather outlook for the US looking at the prospects for some clouds. Best chances for clear skies will be west of the Mississippi River. Tropical Storm Gert continues to organize with the outflow expanding today. Gert could become a minimal hurricane over the next 2 days at it moves northeast out to sea. Weather models particularly the European weather model are growing more bullish on an active tropical pattern developing across the Atlantic with another tropical depression or tropical storm developing later this week.
