  1. Thanks Ben,

Here in North Bama, we had numerous storms produce large hail both in quantity and size, and dangerous winds, many reaching 60mph or above. The lightning lit up the sky for most of the evening on thru the night, with its dazzling display of power. Thankfully no tornadoes that I know of, or have heard about.

  2. Extreme weather 'mood swings' in Montreal region these last few days. Cold at night and warming for certain during the day, but always a large discrepency between two extremes of sorts.

  3. Reached about 84* today in Muskogee, OK. It was a bit much and as I'm leaving work I could see to the south a monster storm cloud forming. Be safe tonight. I hope it weakens a little.

  4. I think we in the South East are going to be in for a pattern of storms all summer long. I hate lightning I hate it I hate it I hate it. Especially since it is being forecasted that storms are going to get more and more severe as time goes on and the climate changes.

  5. Remember when spring was sweet?

You could wear a light jacket or sweater, the sun shown and the gentle rains came to bring life back to the trees and flowers, the days remained between 50 and 70, till nearly June.

And it was June and July that brought storms with Hail and tornadoes.

  6. God bless you Ben and your wife and congratulations on the new observer on the way…Thank you very much for your videos and keeping it real, away from politics.

  7. I would like to recommend the app Radarscope for iOS. Very useful raw radar/Doppler streams for locating and predicting severe storms and tornadoes. It's $10 but well worth it.
