Self-esteem is how you value yourself or your self worth. Unfortunately, the loss of your self-esteem can occur at any time in your life, thus causing depression. Loss self-esteem may also change your life goals and take away your lust for life. Rebuilding your self-esteem is the first step to leading a happy and satisfied life and boosting your self confidence. Being confident will earn you the respect you deserve. And, most importantly, it will make you respect yourself. It will also help you build successful and happy relationships and help you obtain the things you want to achieve.

Low self esteem is usually associated with depression, unhappiness, insecurity and lack of confidence in oneself. This may also damage your physical health as well as your social health. The inner voice that criticizes you makes you stumble at every challenge that you are faced with. Even small challenges seem to be impossible when your low self-esteem takes over.

To overcome the negative effects of your inner voice, you must start building your self-esteem. The following points will help you increase the self confidence and the self-esteem that you once possessed.
