The B.C. NDP and B.C.Green parties have made their alliance official, announcing a framework agreement that will see the two parties work together to form a minority government.

The 10-page document highlights how the two parties plan to ban union and corporate political donations, hold a referendum in 2018 on electoral reform and to stop the federally approved Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion project.

The agreement would only come into effect if Premier Christy Clark resigns, or if the Liberals are defeated in a confidence motion in the legislature.
