  1. At 53:44 into the video the Park Layne, Ohio tornado is captured Live on an Ohio Department Of Transportation (ODOT) camera… At 1:23:06 into the video a live report from Park Layne shows damage from the EF1 Tornado

  2. I live in piqua ohio we watched storm center 7 (local news station) and the tornado dies out when it reached piqua but the rotation was still active and it passed over the whole house and we could hear the house moving and shaking but we was lucky for it to die out and so was our church I'm just glad there wasn't too bad of injuries

  3. I live in Greene county, Ohio. That day was terrifying even though it wasnt that strong of a tornado. As it could have been.

Around 6-7ish pm the sky was pitch black it was so quiet it was eerie. I knew what was happening a few moments later the tornado sirens sounded. I ran inside and immediately called my fiance. He saw funnel clouds nearly touching down where he was. I panicked. Then his parents came and picked me up, I was watching the news and saw when a tornado tried to touch down over my home town. I prayed so hard for it not to touch down. Basically begging since my whole family lives there. Then a few moments later it went back up. I couldn't turn off the news, I had to make sure my brother got in the bathroom. I call my grandma she was in her basement. My mother was in Dayton at work thankfully. I called everyone I loved. Since I was in the clear at that point I could watch the news.

  4. I was working at the mcdonalds in Park Layne when the tornado hit.. I was in my car smoking a cigarette, and I seen the transformer explode, then I seen the tornado drag the dumpster about 10 feet away from my car. And I felt my car lift up off the ground and drag me a couple feet. First time I've watched the news while it was on the ground. I am very lucky, and I will never forget this day for the rest of my life…
