Man arrested in Ontario to be questioned in fatal shootings at Calgary shopping centre – Calgary – Canada News

A Calgary man suspected of weapons trafficking, whom police believe has information about a double homicide in a shopping centre parking lot last month, has been arrested in a small town in northern Ontario.

William Kincade-Miller, 28, was picked up Wednesday in Ignace, Ont., about 250 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay.

Calgary police homicide unit detectives want to speak to him about the May long weekend double fatal shooting that killed Anees Amr, 26, and Colin Reitberger, 23, outside the Superstore at 48th Street and 130th Avenue S.E.

One suspect — Christian Ouellette, 20 — was arrested last week and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths.

Police asked for help from the public in locating Kincade-Miller, saying he might have more information about the shootings.

Officers had been trying to locate him for more than two months, believing he might have travelled to New Brunswick, where he has relatives.

He was wanted for breaching his parole conditions and also in connection with various weapons offences.

Calgary police thanked the public and the media and police in Ontario and Quebec for their assistance in locating Kincade-Miller.
