HURRICANE IRMA 115 MPH WINDS CATEGORY 3 HEADING WEST. WEATHER MODELS COMING A LITTLE CLOSER

Hurricane Irma is moving west with top winds of 120 mph as it is back to a category 3 hurricane. Weather models today seem to have come in a bit in the longer range but the upper air pattern being shown on some models continues to swing widely from model run to model run. Southwest motion should begin Saturday which will determine whether there will be an increased threat to the Leeward Islands early next week
