If something ever goes wrong with your website, don’t panic.
You can restore your site using your Website Builder 7 backup
files.

Website Builder 7 creates a backup of your site whenever you publish it or change the theme.

A backup is a copy of your site as it exists at the point in
time the backup is created.

Backups are insurance against disaster because you can use
them to restore your entire site.

If you’ve been periodically doing manual backups, good job!

Restoring your site is really easy.

Just open your site in Website Builder, click this Manage Site icon, click Site Settings, and then click the Backup/Restore tab.

You’ll see a list of recent backups of your site. In this example, there are 2 manual backups and 3 automatic backups.

Simply point to the backup you want to use to restore your site, click the Restore icon, and then click Yes, Restore to confirm.

That’s it.

Your site has been restored with all the content and functionality it had at the time the backup was created.
