Crazy Storm with Tornadoes in Plano texas

This storm came through tonight 6/10/09 while we were looking for more funny stuff for FrigginRandom. Blew a ton of transformers which made for a good light show, and had some insane wind. A funnel cloud went right over us after lingering in the distance for a bit. Nothing touched down in Plano but a few people saw some tornadoes. this gave us a good excuse to test the new HD camera. Look for some original videos soon!

  1. Wow, I remember that day. Raced the storm home from Firewheel to Richardson. I wasn't even at the front door when the heavy rain and hail started along with the sirens. Didn't know it even hit Plano. Actually was told it was Flower Mound. Obviously that was wrong. Though I think y'all were retarded, my dumbass would've been right there filming it had I been with y'all. Good vid

  2. What a terrible Sirene noise you have there in Texas ! What kind of an American dumm cocksucker shithead thinks up sounds like these man .. I would destroy them all… Fuck it !!

  3. I lived in mineral wells TX in a trailer park back in 1968, I was just a kid, we had to take cover in a ditch!! I'll never forget that green color in the sky. It gives me the chills watching this.

  4. That was not a tornado, that was more likely straight line winds and possibly microbursts. The power flashes were not localized in a specific location or track, and the winds appeared to keep going in a single direction the entire video. A quick rain wrapped spin up may have occurred, but does not explain the other series of power flashes in the video.

  5. I would think Oklahoma in the US has the most. When I was growing up I lived in Illinois and we had a lot. Then moved to Tennessee and we now get many. I've been in several and it's horrible. We had one come thru our yard a few yrs ago. It took out several fences, many trees, our grandkids swing set and I don't know what else. It did a lot of $ damage. It left my pool thank goodness! They are nothing to joke around. Many people die and you kids were lucky. Stay safe out there.

  6. It was only a quick spin up. The tornado quickly touched the ground – but you couldn't see it because it wasn't picking up dust (which gives tornadoes their color and transparency.) The transformers blowing were a great indication of strong winds (wiping back and forth from rotation) and a spin up.
