A 14 year old from Calgary has broken the record for most medals won by a male athlete at the Canada Games.

On Friday night in Winnipeg, Cole Pratt surpassed the record set by swimmer Ray Betuzzi, who earned nine medals at the 2005 Canada Games in Regina.

“It’s crazy, I’m at a loss for words. It’s incredible. I’m just really happy right now,” he said, sporting all 10 medals.

“My coaches helped me a lot, my parents always support me and my brothers and sisters, they are always pushing me, wanting me to do better.”
