You know you are a giant when the weather gets out of your way. What you are seeing here is the clouds on the left actually lifting and splitting to go around Mount Baker.
This was taken the other day on a snow show trip up to Artist Point with Joel deWaard. Also take a second to check out his SnowScape picture on his stream that he took up at Artist Point. Its really amazing.
This picture was taken at the eastern end of Artist Point Ridge just below Huntoon Point. We hung here for about 30-40 minutes I guess watching as the weather was being shaped by the mountain. It was pretty amazing, and it just goes to show, that there really isn’t a bad time to go to Artist Point.
