The event spans a 2 hour period where these cloud formations changed shape and colors over and over! ONe fascinating bit, the cloud is actually behind the mountain aways, not touching as it looks like. This lenticular cloud got its start early in the morning. Driving up the hill to go cut wood, I saw it begin to form in the same position it held all day!

Washington State, Southern Washington Cascade Mountain Range, United States, Mt. Adams. This is a volcano, dormant… and it often gets little cloud caps, but this was something amazing and different for sure!
