Only a 30% chance today of cells developing. When there is a chance…
It almost hit 90 degrees here today and we had some good dew points over 40%. Small cells were forming to the north and east of the meso discussion today. I was honestly surprised to see some incredible cell development, though we only had some small cells with decent hail cores but nothing popped in our area, most of the action was north of Central City, Columbus and Schuyler areas.
I got invited to ride with Nathan Moore, from stormviewlive.com. We had been discussing a ride along with him on some of his local chases, and we both had free time to do it. So today was our first of many to come. It was an opportunity I wasn’t going to miss.
