August 24, 2001 – Kearney Nebraska
There hasn’t been a storm like this monster since… On my way back from Lincoln, just on the outskirts, eastern side of Kearney, this monster released is furry! We had 70mph winds and quarter sized hail. Severe cloud to ground lightning, and there were several funnels reported in our area, though just wind damage was reported from the outflow of this storm.
